December 2023 – Surface Facility Decommissioning

Given 2023’s warmer weather we were able to talk this project late fall. By December 1st, the site was cleaned to the customer’s and regulator’s satisfaction leaving only with some concrete and essential active piping left. Overskud’s efforts reduced our customer’s taxes, and surface liability with the AER. As well a decent chuck of ‘overall spend’ was added to the customer abandonment program.

Scope of work; Project managed removal and scrapping of 1 x Choke Plant, 1 x 800HP Worthington Compressor, 1 X 250BBL Tank, 1 x Dehy, and 3 x Buildings & MCC. Project coordinated vendors to remove all associated scrap (piping, boxes, containments, boneyard items, etc.) and grate lease.
